Trigger Orders: Solana Limit Orders and DCA That Fill While You're Offline
Set a price target or a recurring buy schedule and walk away — Jupiter's own on-chain program and keeper network execute the fill, non-custodially, even if you never come back.
Watching a price chart to catch a target, or manually buying the same amount every week, doesn't scale. Trigger Orders let you set the condition once and walk away — the fill happens whether or not you're around to see it.
Quick facts
- Two order types: price/limit orders and recurring DCA schedules
- Built on Jupiter’s own real Trigger and Recurring APIs — non-custodial, executed by Jupiter’s own keeper network
- This app runs no bot or server watching prices on your behalf — Jupiter’s on-chain program does that entirely
- DCA minimum is $50 per individual cycle, a real floor enforced by Jupiter’s own API
Why this can be fully unattended
The hardest part of any "set it and forget it" order is who watches the market and pulls the trigger when you're not around. Trigger Orders don't need Blockchains.Click to run that infrastructure: creating an order deposits your tokens into a real, on-chain escrow account owned by Jupiter's own limit-order/DCA program, and Jupiter's own keeper network is what actually executes the fill once your price or schedule condition is met. Your funds are never in a wallet this app or Jupiter's team controls directly — they sit in that program-owned account from the moment you sign until it fills or you cancel.
Limit orders vs. DCA
A limit order sells a fixed amount of one token for at least a target amount of another — a real, on-chain equivalent of a limit order on a centralized exchange, filled whenever the market reaches your price. A DCA order splits a total budget into equal buys spaced out over time (e.g. $500 split into 10 buys, one every 24 hours) — useful for averaging into a position without timing the market on every individual buy. Jupiter enforces a real $50-per-cycle minimum on DCA orders.
Delivering to another chain
Trigger Orders fill into a Solana-native token — that's where Jupiter's program lives. If you want the result somewhere else (say, ETH on Base), set a delivery target when creating the order: once it fills, /orders shows a one-click "Deliver now" card that runs the normal cross-chain swap flow against your real, live post-fill balance. It's not fully automatic — completing that last hop with zero clicks would require this app to hold a signing key on your behalf while you're away, which it deliberately doesn't do.
Set your first order — connect a Solana wallet and pick a price target or a recurring schedule.
